Janeane is originally from NYC and Connecticut. She studied acting and voice-over in Boston at CP Casting, and then moved to SoCal in 2000, where she continues studying with a variety of on-camera and voice-over teachers (see resume). She is a member of SAG, AFTRA, and the SAG Conservatory.

Janeane started her radio career as weekly contributor on the nationally syndicated show Chick Chat radio, promoting a musical performer from Mamapaloooza, Inc., the international music festival of Moms in the arts. After studying TV, radio and film at the Newhouse School of Communications she never really pursued this true passion until she began studying to be a radio host at KUCI 88.9fm, the University of California independent radio station. In 2007. she started hosting a new show at KUCI called MOMz ROCK the House and found her true passion. She also became the Reg.Coordinator of "Mamapalooza Rocks the OC!" producing a Mom music festival each May in Orange County, CA. Her 2008 festival was held at the UCI campus and featured grammy-nominated artist Meredith Brooks.

Since starting at KUCI, she has continued writing and voicing numerous radio commercials, psas, and promos. In the fall of 2011, she started a new show at KUCI called "Get the Funk Out!" - a show about facing challenges head on, being creative in these times of uncertainty and being inspiring by stories of challenge and new chapters.

Summer 2008, she launched the Momz Rock the House Show website,with the artistic talent of designer and mommy rocker Judy Davids of the Detroit band www.mydolsThe Mydols. Momzrockthehouse.com is a podcast show featuring women artists and industry experts talking about everything from their careers in music, to tips on going green and the challenges of getting your kids to eat healthy.

As of 2011, Janeane can be heard on three weekly shows: OC Talk Radio - Thursday's at 12noon pst, KUCI 88.9fm - Monday's at 9am pst and Saturday's at 6pm on 90.1fm KBPK. .

She is represented by Animation Voices in LA, a division of Solid Talent for Voice-overs, by The Heyman Talent Agency and Character Talent and Associates.

Janeane studied TV, Radio and Film at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications. She holds a doctorate from Boston University’s Media and Technology program. She frequently hosts and emcees events throughout Orange County.
